SETO has designed probes for internal inspection
(I.D) of tubes, external inspection of tubes
(OD) surface inspection of tubes and plates.
Probes have been designed for various thicknesses
of material varying from 0.1mm to 5 mm and
for various materials such as Inconel, Monel,
Cupronickel, Stainless Steels, brass etc.

(straight probes) and for bent tubes (flexible

defects in sandwiched tubes.
Acquisition, Storage and Analysis System:
SETO has developed PC based equipment for acquiring
ECT data from test instruments and displaying
the same in user friendly display format. Specialised
software provides facility to mix signals from
a multifrequency tester to distinguish signals
in applications where signals from adjoining
structures interfere with the normal signals.
The data so acquired is stored in standard media
such as Hard disk, CDs etc. Provision for analysis
of data to provide direct reading of "size"
the defect is built into the analysis software.
Report generation in plain text format and provision
to export data to standard Database or Spreadsheet
program are provided.
Single frequency and dual frequency Eddy Current
Testers are in development stages.
